Three men were arrested and charged over the killing of a Sikh separatist leader in Canada last year. Hardeep Singh Nijjar, 45, was shot dead in June 2023 by masked gunmen in a busy car park in a Vancouver suburb. The police said that the three men, all Indian nationals, who were arrested had been living in Canada for three to five years. Nijjar’s murder last year caused a major diplomatic row between India and Canada. The diplomatic row escalated after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged India’s government may have been involved. Watch the video to know more.
