Ameesha Patel, who is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Gadar 2 opposite Sunny Deol, said that the audience is hungry for clean entertainment stating that the content on OTT platforms is full of homosexuality.
She told Bollywood Hungama the era where a grandchild could sit and watch a movie with their grandparent is completely missing.She said that people are waiting for good and clean cinema and OTT surely doesn’t offer that.
She then said that OTT is full of homosexuality and gay-lesbian scenes where you have to cover your kids eyes or put a child lock on your television so that children can’t have access to such platforms.Talking about what the audience is missing in today’s cinema, Ameesha said that in earlier days Indians couldn’t travel that much and didn’t have that much fashion. Everything they wanted was seen through cinema. Back in the days, the music industry was not so organised but it still struck the right chord with the audience.
She added that people are missing the essence of film music, costumes, fashion and other things, which she feels that Gadar 2 will be an answer to all this. She said that Gadar 2 showcases family values, got the heart-wrenching moments, the great action, the dialogues, the music and everything that audience expect from a good cinema.
