Vicky Kaushal says it took time for him to come to terms with the fact that Katrina Kaif was giving him attention, he felt, ‘why me?’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif took the nation by surprise as they tied the knot in December 2021. It was a secret, intimate wedding and nobody really knew that the couple was dating till they actually got married and announced it to the world. But guess what? Initially, even Vicky was in disbelief to get attention from her. In a recent interview, Vicky admitted that it took a while for him to come to terms with this fact.
Vicky appeared on an episode of We Are Yuvaa’s ‘Be A Man Yaar’ and he was asked how he wooed Katrina. Vicky being the honest guy he is, confessed that he had trouble coming to terms with the fact that he can woo her. He admitted that the glam side or the fact that she’s a superstar weren’t the factors why he fell in love with her. Vicky confessed he fell in love with the ‘human side’ of Katrina. He was sure that he wanted to have her as his life companion when he got to know her completely. Initially, he was feeling odd getting attention from her. He would be like, ‘Heh? Are you okay?’. Having said that, it was mutual and they were both giving equal attention to each other, said Vicky.
He said, it was very awkward for him initially and he often wondered, ‘why me’, but Katrina is just a lovely human being. For Vicky though, the biggest turn on for him is that Katrina is so compassionate towards the people around, the environment. It all began when he asked her out for dinner over a text. Vicky also expressed that there was no suspense in their relationship if it would reach marriage. Because they both knew from the very beginning that this is extremely serious and they both had an understanding that this would be permanent.
That’s now all. Vicky further served husband goals as he said that the only thing he wants, is to see Katrina smiling! Interestingly, Vicky and Katrina have never done a film together. The first time they were seen together is when they shared their first photos as husband and wife and that is the most adorable thing for their fans!
On work front, Vicky is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, ‘The Great Indian Family‘.
