In 2012, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan started their Bollywood journey together by making their acting debut in ‘Student Of The Year.’ These stars who are today counted among the most talented, versatile, and bankable actors, had a huge potential right from their debut movie, which now has completed 11 years. The National Award Winning actress Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram story to share a video of making a smiley on a frosted window with her fingers. She first drew 11 on the screen and then added a smile to celebrate the anniversary of the film. Along with the video she wrote – “11 years. How time flies.”

Varun Dhawan on the other hand, shared a post from a fan page that had a clip featuring his multiple movies. While sharing the clip, he used the song ‘Ishq Wala Love,’ and wrote “#11yearsofvarundhawan”.

Following the footsteps of his co-stars, Sidharth Malhotra also reposted some of the fan posts along with the smiling and victory emoticons.

Last but not least, the director of the movie, Karan Johar also expressed his contentment with his Instagram family. Sharing a video uploaded by Dharma Movies, he wrote “11 years of SOTY”. Dharma Movies shared a video that was an amalgamation of all the wonderful moments and songs from the movie.

The rom-com that featured the love triangle between Alia, Varun and Sidharth, and chase to get the Student Of The Year Trophy that turned friends into foe, ‘SOTY’ was an emotion and laughter packed drama.
