This is how smartphone maker Xiaomi’s electric car looks like: Details – Times of India
The leaked images reveal a sleek and modern coupish design, with a flowing silhouette and aerodynamic curves. The car’s front fascia features a distinctive closed grille because it’s an EV. The front of the car closely resembles the McLaren 720S coupe.
Although the car was heavily camouflaged, it did reveal certain design elements at the rear also. The rear end sports a minimalist design with sleek tail lights that appear to be connected end to end of the vehicle under the taping. It also gets a large spoiler.

We also get to see an interior shot this time, although most components are covered. From what is visible, we can see a digital instrument cluster, a large infotainment system (aligning in the company’s expertise in consumer electronics) and a minimalist, conventional steering wheel.
Details regarding the car’s performance and specifications remain under wraps. However, speculations suggest that Xiaomi is aiming for a competitive range of over 500 km on a single charge.
The upcoming EV, christened as the ‘SU7’ is expected to be launched in China sometime in 2024. At present, China, along with Germany and the US, are some of the largest EV markets in the world. Xiaomi’s arrival in the market will further intensify the competition between the likes of Great Wall Motors, BYD, and Tesla.
