PM Modi unveils statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Maharashtra | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Rajkot Fort in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra.
The Maharashtra and Sindhudurg Police had made elaborate security arrangements for the PM‘s visit here with major markets in Tarkarli, Malvan and surroundings remaining closed for the day.
Traffic restrictions were also implemented on the route from Chipi Airport to Tarkarli Beach and other places which have been given a facelift and other necessary amenities created.
