Subhash Ghai reviews Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda starrer ‘The Archies’, calls it ‘broadway with real life performances’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Subhash Ghai is one of the most successful directors of Indian Cinema, who has given hits like Hero, Meri Jung, Saudagar, Ram Lakhan and Khal Nayak among others. He was known for his vision and scale, for which he is tagged as the ‘Showman’ of the industry. The maverick director was in attendance for Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film ‘The Archies’, which had a starrer premiere on Tuesday night.

The director took to Twitter to share his review of the film and mentioned that he loves Zoya Akhtar as a director and found the performances in the film very real. He wrote , “I love director #ZOYA AKHTAR who loves to give surprises by her every new amazing film . I attended the premiere of #ARCHIES. She displays her musical dynamics wonderfully-A broadway style with real life performances from stars kids n new talent so beautifully. ⁦blessings”

‘The Archies’ marks the acting debut of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi, along with Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda and Aditi Saigal.
The premiere was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan and his family along with Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, Nikhil Nanda, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor, Rekha, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar among others.
‘The Archies’ is all set to premiere on OTT on December 7.
