Search on for terrorists who fired on Poonch army convoy | India News – Times of India

JAMMU: Security forces continued searches on Monday in the Krishna Ghati (KG) sector of J&K’s Poonch to track down terrorists who fired on an army convoy on Friday, official sources said.
“The search is underway in Dharti, Dhara, Magnad and Jhallas areas of Poonch,” an official source said. The firing had caused no loss of life or injuries but came less than a month after four soldiers died when terrorists ambushed an army convoy at Dera Ki Gali in Poonch.Dera Ki Gali is around 50km from Krishna Ghati.
Meanwhile, another search operation with sniffer dogs and aerial surveillance was underway in Sawjian of Poonch’s Mandi following reports of suspicious movements in the forested patch, the sources said.
