NEW DELHI: The wait to see Virat Kohli back in the public eye since the birth of his son, Akaay, ended on Saturday as India’s batting maestro was spotted at the airport in his first appearance ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.
Virat, who was absent during the five-match Test series against England, took time off from cricket to be with his wife, Anushka Sharma, during the latter stages of her pregnancy.

A video of Virat coming out of the airport, posing for photos and then boarding his car went viral on social media.

Fans on social media are showing immense love for a video posted by Star Sports capturing Virat emerging from the airport, striking poses for photos, and then boarding his car.

Virat is set to return to the cricket field and don the colors of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 17th IPL edition of the IPL.
RCB will kick off their campaign against defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the tournament’s opening match on March 22 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
RCB have never won an IPL title since the tournament’s inception in 2008.
