‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ clashed with ‘Crew’ starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu. It was released in the theatres on March 29. The film is a sequel to ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ and this time Godzilla and King Kong are fighting for their existence and survival of the human race. And movie lovers have filled social media with positive reviews for the film.
According to Sacnilk, Godzilla x Kong has earned around Rs 14 crore in India on its opening day for all languages.It is expected to perform well on weekends at the box office. The film had an overall 33.93 per cent English occupancy on Friday.
This will also be the biggest opener from Hollywood in India in 2023/24. It broke records for the highest opening weekend since ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, surpassing films like ‘Mission Impossible 7’ and ‘Fast X’, which took in almost 12 crore net.
Directed by Adam Wingard and produced by Legendary Pictures, ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ is a monster film and is a sequel to ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ (2021).
