Regarding “Wanted,” Boney Kapoor told News18 Showsha, that he had discussed the sequel with Salman Khan.

Although the timing is uncertain, Salman has committed to the project and will participate once the right script is finalized. Boney Kapoor expressed his hope that this sequel will materialize soon.
As for the “Mr. India” sequel, Boney Kapoor revealed ongoing discussions with a prominent overseas studio interested in collaborating. This partnership might result in a reboot rather than a direct sequel, with plans to recreate the essence of “Mr. India.” Boney emphasized that such projects require careful planning and cannot be rushed, suggesting a potential release in the coming years.

Reflecting on the original “Mr. India,” Boney Kapoor acknowledged Sridevi‘s pivotal role in making the film a hit, describing her as the “beating heart” of the story. He highlighted the contributions of various actors and emphasized the significance of iconic characters and dialogues crafted by Salim-Javed and Javed Akhtar.
