NEW DELHI: The Election Commission on Tuesday launched a “Myth vs Reality Register” to combat misinformation during the Lok Sabha polls.
This initiative aims to provide voters with accurate information and debunk fake news.
The microsite, inaugurated by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, will be regularly updated with the latest debunked fake news and common queries.
This move comes in response to the increasing spread of false narratives and aims to ensure voters have access to verified information throughout the electoral process.
