How Swiggy, Zomato celebrated India’s win over Bangladesh in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 – Times of India

India defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs in Antigua, confirming their spot in semi-finals in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Hardik Pandya produced an all-round show, while star batter Virat Kohli found the much-needed rhythm with Shivam Dube and Pandya, pushing India to 196 for five. Bangladesh ended up with 146/8 in 20 overs, leading India for their second consecutive win in Super 8s.
Some of the big brands of India celebrated India’s win over Bangladesh in their style and manner. These include food delivery apps like Zomato, Swiggy, among others.

“Ireland, Pakistan, Bangladesh..Team India clearly likes finishing their greens 😬 #T20WorldCup,” writes Zomato in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

How Swiggy celebrated India’s win

“Ruko, tumhe bhi biryani bhijwa dete hai,” said Swiggy in a sarcastic DM to Bangladesh Crickert’s Instagram.

Flipkart’s sarcastic message to Bangladesh team

“Dear neighbour, aapke toote hue dil ke liye,” said Walmart-owned Flipkart in an X post.

What Uber said on India’s win

“Men in blue dropped the haar far far away,” wrote the official handle of Uber India on X.

“Dear Bangladesh, bahut hardikh shubkamnaye! Aap ki haar ki delivery is happening with both bat and ball today 😎,” reads another post shared by Flipkart.
