The early announcement of the Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Love and War‘ by Sanjay Leela Bhansali left fans and audiences in awe, and new reports have surfaced, igniting anticipation about the shooting schedule of the actors for the movie.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Ranbir will kick off the shoot in the first week of October, with Vicky joining him around October 10.Later in December, Alia will join the cast.
The film will start with scenes focused on Ranbir, followed by those involving the friendship between Ranbir and Vicky. Bhansali has carefully planned the schedule, keeping the actors’ availability in mind. Alia Bhatt is currently committed to another project, the female spy film ‘Alpha’ under Yash Raj Films (YRF). She is expected to start working on ‘Love and War’ after finishing ‘Alpha’ by the end of November or early December.
‘Love and War’ was announced earlier this year, with Alia and Vicky sharing the news on Instagram. Unlike Bhansali’s previous intense period dramas, this film is an original love story. Bhansali has been eager to explore this genre and feels this is the right time to do so.

While sharing the post, Vicky wrote, “An eternal cinema dream has come true. #SanjayLeelaBhansali #RanbirKapoor @aliaabhatt @prerna_singh6 @bhansaliproductions #LOVEandWAR.” This will be the second collaboration between Ranbir and Vicky after ‘Sanju’, and Ranbir and Alia will share the screen together again after their previous collaboration ‘Brahmastra’.
