MUMBAI: Akasa Air has launched daily direct flights between Mumbai and Kuwait City, the capital of Kuwait. The inaugural flight was operated on Aug 23. It departed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 7.50 pm and arrived at Kuwait International Airport in Kuwait City at 10 pm, local time.
“In an event held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to flag off the maiden flight, a ceremonial lamp was lit in the presence of members of Akasa Air’s Executive Committee and a special boarding pass was presented to the first passenger on the inaugural flight,” the airline said.
