Sujata Mehta, acclaimed for her 1987 film Pratighaat alongside Nana Patekar, later starred in Yateem and Kanwarlal. Known for diverse roles, she worked with stars like Sunny Deol and Rajinikanth. Recently, the veteran actress shared her memorable experiences meeting Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Sujata Mehta revealed that during her theatre days, Aamir Khan worked backstage and even served water to the audience during her play Chitkar. She praised his humble beginnings, noting how he built his career from scratch while staying grounded. She shared how Aamir continues to show great respect and values his roots.

Sujata Mehta also recounted meeting Shah Rukh Khan. She mentioned initially not recognizing him at Film City due to his ordinary appearance but appreciated his humble nature when he approached her. During a second encounter at Mehboob Studio, she was impressed by his down-to-earth attitude and dedication to his work.

Sujata Mehta shared her wish to work with Shah Rukh Khan, highlighting her admiration for the superstar. Apart from her film career, Sujata has appeared in several Gujarati films and television shows, including the popular series Saraswatichandra.
