NEW DELHI: A passenger survived the deadly crash of a London-bound Air India passenger plane, after it rammed into a nearby doctors’ hostel shortly after taking off from the Ahmedabad airport, the city’s police commissioner said.Also Read | Ahmedabad man avoids Air India crash by postponing travel, says God saved him from death“The police found one survivor in seat 11A. He is in the hospital undergoing treatment. Cannot say anything about the number of deaths yet.” Ahmedabad Police commissioner GS Malik told news agency ANI. “The toll may increase as the flight crashed in a residential area,” he added.In videos going viral on social media, a man in a blood-soaked white shirt is seen heavily limping and walking towards an ambulance. He is surrounded by locals who ask him about others who were on the ill-fated flight.The man was identified as Vishwashkumar Ramesh, a British national.
