Roger Federer will make a return to Shanghai this fall, headlining the “Roger Federer & Friends” celebrity doubles match on October 10, giving fans another opportunity to watch him in action.“Hello, this is Roger, and I am really happy to be returning to Qizhong Stadium in Shanghai for the Rolex Shanghai Masters,” Federer said in a video.“Shanghai has always been a special place for me, with great fans, unforgettable memories, and a real love for the game,” he added.The two-time Shanghai Masters champion last visited the city in 2024, spending a few fun-filled days exploring, meeting Novak Djokovic, watching Jannik Sinner, and even training indoors with Carlos Alcaraz, jokingly questioning what he was doing there.
