Priyanka Chopra Jonas took fans on a nostalgic ride as she revisited her 2009 hit Kaminey, sharing fond memories with co-star Shahid Kapoor and director Vishal Bhardwaj. While her heartfelt post celebrated the film’s legacy, it also reignited fans’ longing for her long-overdue return to Bollywood.

How Kaminey came her way

Along with sharing glimpses of her character Sweety Bhope and Shahid Kapoor’s Guddu from Kaminey, Priyanka Chopra recalled being offered the film while she was in Miami shooting for Dostana (2008). I learned so much from the master @vishalrbhardwaj, how to research, prepare and then surrender to the part. @shahidkapoor was sensational in his double role. #AmolGupte was unforgettable. I also met @mubinarattonsey for the first time on this set. ❤️ Those were the times. 16 years ago!”
