The Iranian regime is sending messages to civilians, who they believe have an affiliation with “hostile” foreign media, threatening them with the most severe punishment, NewsNation reported, citing a message that was sent to an Iranian refugee from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Legal warning: What did the message say“Legal Warning: According to the directive of the Supreme National Security Council and Article 4 of the Law on Intensifying Punishment for Crimes Against the Zionist Regime, membership in virtual spaces, channels, and pages affiliated with hostile foreign media—especially the so-called ‘International’ terrorist network—and the sending of any photos, videos, content, or location data are considered crimes. Under wartime conditions, such actions may result in the most severe punishments.”“Given your membership in these pages, you are hereby warned that if you do not leave these pages and channels, legal action will be taken against you in accordance with the stated laws. If you have any explanation in this regard, please contact 113 or send a message through the Ministry of Intelligence platforms on the Eitaa, Bale, or Rubika messaging applications.” Eitaa, Baleh and Rubika ware message applications like WhatsApp, Telegram, the report said. “They read SMS texts, WhatsApp messages, Instagram posts and stories,” the refugee stated adding that they were previously interrogated in Iran and threats have escalated after the war started. “I have been told that I could face severe punishment; being executed,” they said.Iran recently executed three men accusing them of killing police officers during anti-government protests in January. The three men included Saleh Mohammadi, a member of Iran’s national wrestling team. And the executions took place on Thursday morning — amid the ongoing war. According to rights groups, the three men had confessed under torture and were executed without a fair trial.Their deaths came a day after Iran executed a dual Iranian-Swedish national. Kouroush Keyvani was hanged after being found guilty of spying for Israel.
