When Aamir Khan spoke about link-up rumours with Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla and Pooja Bhatt – WATCH video – Times of India

Aamir Khan has been in the industry for over three decades now. The actor along with the other two Khans – Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan – is considered one of the reigning stars of Hindi cinema. While he’s known for his on-screen characters and called a ‘perfectionist’, he’s also been surrounded by several controversies, which comes along with being a public figure for so many years. Right from his personal life, marriages, divorces and link-ups – everything has been under public scrutiny.
There have been rumours of link-ups with several of his co-stars. A throwback video of Aamir sees him addressing his link-ups with Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla and Pooja Bhatt. Aamir says, “Madhuri ke saath mera affair hai, yeh aaya hai. Juhi ke saath mera affair hai, yeh bhi aaya hai. Pooja Bhatt ko maine shadi propose ki hai, yeh bhi aaya hai. Toh kaafi cheezein aayi hai lekin main in cheezon se affect nahi hota hoon. (It’s come out in the media that I’ve had an affair with Madhuri Dixit and then Juhi Chawla. It’s also been reported that I proposed marriage to Pooja Bhatt, but I don’t get affected by these rumours).”

Aamir made his debut with Juhi while he’s done memorable films like ‘Dil’ and ‘Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahi’ with Madhuri and Pooja respectively.
The actor also spoke about the professional controversies surrounding him. He added, “Jahan tak professional controversies ka sawaal hai, abhi tak mera koi khaas problem hua nahi hai kisi ke saath aur ummeed hai hoga bhi nahi. Ek-do problems mere huye hai producer ke saath jinki film maine ek dafaa chhodi thi but nothing major. (I’ve not really had any professional controversies with anyone and I hope I never have, barring just 1-2 problems I’ve had with a producer whose film I had left. So, there’s not been anything major).”

As of now, Aamir has taken at least a year long break from movies post the release of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The actor said that when he is working, he gets so involved into a film that he can’t pay attention to anything else or anyone else. So, he wants to take some time off to spend with his family, especially his children.
