Why Yogita Bali STOPPED working: Son Namashi Chakraborty REVEALS IN VIDEO- Exclusive – Times of India

Yogita Bali needs no introduction. This beautiful actress with unforgettably big eyes lit up screens in the late 70s and 80s. She was last seen in ‘Aakhri Badla’ 34 years ago. ‘Aakhri Badla’ which was released in 1989 starred Mithun Chakraborty, Yogita Badli, Pradeep Kumar, Prem Chopra and Tom Alter in main roles.
Yogita Bali has never interacted with the media much after that, and has seldom been seen at any social functions. She produced a film ‘Enemmy’ (2013) starring her hubby Mithun Chakraborty and Suniel Shetty but never came out to be heard or seen in public.

Well, ETimes has it that she is perfectly fine and happy; she is not addicted to the arc lights and is content to play a wife and mother. Yogita Bali and Mithun Chakraborty’s son, Namashi, talking to ETimes EXCLUSIVELY at their Madh Island home confirmed this and said, “She wants to live her life in Madh Island (ahead of Malad in Mumbai) in this huge place where we stay. She is very busy with her four kids. She has been looking after us all the time. And then, we have 11 pet dogs. She doesn’t want to go to events either.” We present that Namashi interview below. Replied Namashi, “Aaye the kuch log, lekin unhone katehi mana kar diya (Filmmakers did come to cast her in roles but she politely declined).”

Yogita Bali married Mithun Chakraborty in 1979. They have three sons- Mahaakshay, Ushmey, Namashi and a daughter-Dishani. Mahaakshay aka Mimoh is an actor, while Namashi is going to debut in the film ‘Bad Boy’ (slated for release on April 28, 2023) directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Amrin Qureshi plays the female lead opposite Namashi.
