Satish Kaushik’s prayer meet: Anupam Kher, Vidya Balan, Vivek Agnihotri, David Dhawan and others reach the actor-director’s residence for the ceremony – Times of India

Satish Kaushik passed away on March 8 in Gurugram after he suffered a heart attack. A postmortem was performed before his body was sent to Mumbai.
Today, his family has organised a prayer meet and pagdi ceremony for the late actor-director. His friends and well-wishers from the industry made their presence felt at the do. ETimes was the first to inform you about the dates of the prayer meet and pagdi ceremony.

Celebrities like Vidya Balan, Anupam Kher, Vivek Agnihotri, David Dhawan, Javed Akhtar, Boney Kapoor and many others were spotted and snapped at Kaushik’s residence where the prayer meet was held.

ETimes had also revealed that His close friend and co-star Anupam Kher has also organised a prayer meet which will be held on March 21 at ISKCON temple in Juhu.

Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik go back a long way. According to the late actor’s manager, Kher was one of the first celebrities to reach his residence after receiving the news of his death. Kher was in also Kolkata days after the demise of Satish Kaushik where he sought blessings at the city’s famous Kalighat Temple and pray for his late friend’s soul.
