Sonam Kapoor celebrated her 40th birthday on June 9, 2025, and to mark the special occasion, her husband Anand Ahuja shared a heartwarming tribute on social media. He posted an adorable family photo from the intimate birthday celebration, featuring their son Vayu. He accompanied it with a heartfelt note and lovingly referred to Sonam as his “baby.”
The picture captures a touching moment where little Vayu is seen feeding cake to his mom, while Anand looks on, fully immersed in his dad duties. In the background, a cheerful crowd of guests can be seen. Both Anand and Sonam decided to wear matching black clothes on the special day.

The actress rang in her 40th birthday with an intimate celebration on June 8 in Mumbai, surrounded by close friends and family. The star-studded guest list included Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and filmmaker Karan Johar, making the evening truly memorable.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in May 2018 after two years of dating. The couple welcomed their first child, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, in August 2022.
Talking about the work front, Sonam was last seen in the thriller film Blind, which premiered on the OTT platform JioCinema. Directed by Shome Makhija, the film also starred Vinay Pathak and Purab Kholi in significant roles. She will reportedly be next seen in Battle of Bittora.
