Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: I wrote The Way I Loved Her from a place of quiet reflection — the kind that comes after losing something you never expected to lose. It was inspired by moments that outlived their time, by emotions that refused to fade, and by the truth that love always changes us.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: It’s a heartfelt journey of love, loss, and self-realization told through Sid’s eyes. The story explores how one person can reshape your understanding of yourself and the world, and how even when love ends, its echoes remain — teaching you how to begin again.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The Way I Loved Her isn’t about possession; it’s about expression. It’s not how long love lasted, but how deeply it was felt. The title reflects the honesty of loving someone even when they’re no longer yours — the way, not the forever.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: Writing it taught me that healing isn’t forgetting — it’s remembering differently. I learned that every emotion, no matter how painful, has purpose. And that sometimes, words help us make peace with memories we never dared to revisit.

Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?

A: No, It was not inspired by any real stories or any persons individual.I just created a versatile story as of my own references.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: As of Aadhya become a lesson where Sid,the narrator realised sometimes it’s better to let go and as of Siya has made Sid realise what the way of loving is..

Q: How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?

A: It took around 1 year to write this book.As of due to sum uneven circumstances happened, it took a long time.

Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: Write what hurts. Don’t chase perfection — chase honesty. Readers don’t fall in love with flawless writing; they fall for truth wrapped in emotion..Feel deeply, then write fearlessly.

Q: How Did Publishing Your First Book Change Your Process Of Writing?

A: It made me more patient and more fearless. I learned that writing is rewriting, that vulnerability is strength, and that your story doesn’t have to be perfect — it just has to be true.

Q: What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A: Emotion, honesty, and rhythm. Words should sound like they’ve been felt before being written. If a reader pauses, smiles, or remembers someone — that’s good writing.

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: For me, success isn’t numbers or fame — it’s connection. If even one reader feels understood through my words, that’s success. Stories become immortal when they touch hearts.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: For emotional stories like this, the research is inward. It’s about revisiting feelings, understanding psychology, and observing life. Authentic emotion is the truest research a writer can do.

Q: How Do Your Book Get Published?

A: Through a lot of patience, persistence, and belief. Whether it’s self-publishing or through a publisher, the process begins with faith — in your story and in yourself.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: Write bravely. Don’t wait for perfect words — start with honest ones. Your voice matters, your story matters, and someone out there is waiting to feel less alone because of it.
