Where needed I’ve used composites to protect privacy while keeping the lessons authentic.

A: Since the “characters” are real investors and entrepreneurs whose experiences inform the book, I prefer to think they kept learning. Some found discipline, some learned costly lessons, and some went on to build successful exits. The book’s aim is to shorten the learning curve so more readers make the wiser choices sooner.
