Sanskruti Thakkar Talks About Her Book “Heaven Is Over Now”
About the Author:
Sanskruti thakkar is a poet and has spent her teenage years translating emotions to ink. Began writing verses of Heaven is over now at thirteen, realizing her personal journals held echoes of finding herself. this book marks end of one chapter and beginning of her journey as a published author.

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?
A: My teenage experiences, whether good or bad I never forgot to pen it down, growing up I realised my words can be an impact helping other teens to understand the feelings I felt.
Q: What Does The Title Mean?
A: Title offers the fact that for most teens their teenage feels like hell but once they’re out of that age they realise that teenage was the real Heaven. And turning 18 might be the end of one Heaven, its upon the person’s perspective to build another Heaven and call it adulting.
Q: How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?
A: Since my forte is poems, I have all sorts of them – good ones, bad ones, the ones that I can publish and the ones that I can keep to myself.
And writing is not constant especially when you only write when youre extremely happy or extremely sad.
So for me it took me 5 years to complete my first poetry book.
Q: When Did You Write Your First Book And How Old Were You?
A: This is my first solo book and I’m currently 17 on verge of being 18.
Q: What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?
A: I’d say write it from heart if you want to deliver it from heart.
And if the readers find it nice they will read it twice!
And thats the power a writer has.
Q: Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?
A: Yes because a book cover is just like a first impression. Readers will judge you on basis of your cover and they’ll decide if your book is worthy enough to read or not.
Q: Where Do You Get Your Greatest Ideas For Writing?
A: As simple as daily events of my life inspire me to write.
