Exclusive interview with the author
Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?
A: I was inspired by the countless people I see every day who silently hold themselves back because of judgment, criticism, and societal expectations. Their fear of being judged often stops them from becoming who they truly want to be. Parts of Unshaken are also inspired by my own journey and experiences. I wrote this book to remind readers that they have the strength to rise above criticism, embrace who they are, and live unapologetically.
Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?
A: Unshaken: How to Rise Above Society’s Taunts and Live Unapologetically is a self-help and personal growth book that empowers readers to overcome judgment, criticism, and self-doubt. Through practical insights, relatable stories, and lessons drawn from both real-life experiences and my own journey, the book encourages readers to build resilience, embrace their authentic selves, and live with confidence—without letting society define their worth.
Q: What Does The Title Mean?
A: For me, Unshaken means staying true to yourself, even when life, people, or society try to make you doubt who you are. We all face criticism, comparisons, and moments that shake our confidence. I’ve experienced that too. The title is a reminder that while we can’t always control what people say or think, we can choose not to let it define us. My hope is that every reader closes this book feeling a little stronger, a little more confident, and ready to live life on their own terms.
Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?
A:Yes, absolutely. The book is inspired by many real people I’ve met over the years, including friends, colleagues, and others whose experiences stayed with me. Some parts are also drawn from my own journey. While the stories have been adapted to protect privacy, the emotions, struggles, and lessons are very real. I wanted readers to see themselves in these experiences and know they’re not alone.
Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?
A: I’d like to believe the journey didn’t end with the last page—it was just the beginning. The characters didn’t suddenly become fearless or stop facing challenges. Instead, they learned to face life with greater confidence and self-belief. They continued growing, making choices based on their own values rather than the opinions of others. That’s the message of Unshaken too—life doesn’t become perfect, but you become stronger and more resilient with every challenge you overcome.
Q:Where Do You Get Your Greatest Ideas For Writing?
A: Most of my ideas come from everyday life. I observe the struggles people around me face, and I reflect on my own experiences too. Whenever I see someone holding themselves back because of fear, judgment, or self-doubt, I feel a strong desire to help. That intention, to solve real problems and encourage both myself and others to grow ,is where my writing truly begins.
