When Donald Trump spoke about his economic agenda in Las Vegas this week, it wasn’t just policy that caught attention. Many online fixated on what looked like a noticeably fuller head of his trademark golden hair.
The appearance came during a speech at the Red Rock Casino on August 5, where Trump highlighted measures such as tax breaks on tipped income, lower prescription drug prices and so-called “Trump accounts.” But even as he focused on the economy, social media quickly veered toward his hair.
Users began debating whether the volume was real or enhanced.
Journalist Aaron Rupar was among the first to comment, noting the unusual fullness and jokingly questioning if Trump was “rocking a wig.” Others echoed the skepticism, while some supporters praised the look, suggesting, tongue in cheek, that he appeared to be “aging in reverse.”
Responding to that comment, another user said, “Trump must be on $HIMS… have you seen the hair growth?”
Trump’s hair, along with his distinct appearance, has long been a defining part of his public image. He has previously acknowledged the effort involved in maintaining it.
Talking about how Trump seemed to have fewer hair just days ago, an X user said, “Now he has big blonde rug on his head!”
Some users are posting AI-made videos of the US President, showing him rocking thick and long blonde hair.
Even Donald trump’s fans could not help but take part in the online fun.
I love Trump but this is funny. I didn’t turn the volume on. It’s just the hair. How can you not appreciate? Oh shoot. Oh my gosh lol https://t.co/GSml9OFlmc— MiaAnne (@CSirchio) August 7, 2026
Speaking at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference (PAC), he quipped about trying hard to conceal a bald spot. That same year, his physician disclosed that he uses medication to address male-pattern hair loss.
