A Diljit Dosanjh fan’s regret over spending thousands of rupees on concert tickets has sparked a lively discussion online after the singer announced multiple new stops for his upcoming India tour.
The fan claimed he had bought a ₹22,000 ticket for Ahmedabad and another ticket worth ₹17,000, only to learn soon after that Dosanjh would be performing in several other Indian cities.
A Diljit Dosanjh fan found himself regretting his concert spending after the singer announced more India tour dates. The fan claimed he had already spent ₹22,000 on an Ahmedabad ticket and another ₹17,000, only to discover that Dosanjh would soon perform in several other cities.
The Punjabi singer recently expanded his Aura World Tour into a seven-city India leg, with performances planned across Delhi-NCR, Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh. The announcement came after Ahmedabad had initially been revealed as the only Indian stop on the tour.
Sharing his concern on Instagram, user shivamlucky addressed Dosanjh and said, “Diljit Paaji aap hume Pehle hi bata dete ki aap Ahmedabad ke alawa or bhi jagah shows karne wale ho.
Pehle maine Rs 22000 ki ticket li Ahmedabad ke liye or kal raat hi maine rs 17000. Ab aapne subah subah daaldia ki aap or bhi jagah shows karne vale ho. Toh paaji Pehle hi bata dete, humare thode se paise bach jaate, samay bach jaata. Chlo koi baat nahi.”
The post quickly gained traction, with social media users divided over whether the fan had a reason to complain. One person tried to put a positive spin on the situation, writing, “Don’t worry bro but think you are been a part of a HISTORY ❤️🚨”
Another user said they had narrowly avoided being in a similar situation, commenting, “I got lucky bro, I was thinking to buy Ahmedabad tickets but didn’t at the last moment.”
However, some users argued that the announcement should not have come as a complete surprise. One commenter pointed out, “This makes no sense, he had already said it multiple times in his Instagram live that he will be performing in other locations, as well. Do your own research before blaming the artist for something as basic as this.”
A fourth user questioned the assumption itself, asking, “Why was that assumption made that he won’t do shows elsewhere 😂”
Meanwhile, another fan suggested that the Ahmedabad concert could still offer a unique experience because of its massive scale. “But jo experience Ahmedabad m hoga wo kahi aur ni hoga … 1 lakh se jyada log honge, vibe socho kya hogi crazzyyy 🔥” the user wrote.
Dosanjh’s India tour will begin with a show at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on November 1. He will then perform at C21 Estate in Indore on November 15, followed by the Ahmedabad concert at Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21.
The singer is scheduled to perform in Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Race Course on November 27 and Bengaluru at NICE Grounds on November 29. The Lucknow concert is set for December 5 at the 19th National Jamboree Ground.
Chandigarh has also been added to the itinerary, although the date and venue for that show are yet to be announced. With the addition of the new cities, the India leg has transformed from a single Ahmedabad concert into a much wider nationwide tour.
The Ahmedabad show was initially announced as the only Indian stop on Dosanjh’s Aura World Tour, which follows his extensive international schedule. The singer has performed at major global venues during his 2026 run, including Madison Square Garden and Wembley Stadium.
