While we may not be able to see a Thor and Spiderman crossover in a film anytime soon, we can surely watch the Thor actor with an actual spider. Yes, we are not joking about this particular crossover. It actually happened and we have the proof. In a spine-chilling clip shared on Instagram just a few hours ago, Chris Hemsworth has given us a glimpse of his scary encounter with a massive spider. The location in the video looks like the backyard of a house. The actor used his phone’s front camera to capture the moment and film the giant insect in front of him.

In the video, we can see the spider just inches away from his face and it almost looks like the size of Hemsworth’s face in another close-up shot. “Didn’t even scare me,” wrote the actor, along with a Pinocchio emoticon, probably referring to the fact that the insect had, in fact, scared it.

“Look at that,” the star says as he films the spider in its web. Within seconds, the spider moves from its spot, causing Hemsworth to visibly flinch and take a step back. Hemsworth then laughs it off, exclaiming, “Jesus Christ,” and continues to film the incident.

As soon as he uploaded the video, his fans flocked to the comment section and shared various reactions to the encounter. Referring to his Australian origins, a fan wrote, “Australians are just a different species there’s no other possible explanation.” “How did you not run away screaming? Maybe that’s what I would have done,” commented another one.
