Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: My inspiration to write this thriller came from my love for suspense and mystery. This is my first novel, and I wanted to create a story that keeps readers excited and curious until the end. Writing this book has been a new and exciting journey for me, and I hope readers enjoy the twists and turns as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: ‘Gumrah’ is the story of Amit who one day suddenly meets his girlfriend at Lonavala station who had been missing for the past three years. But he had no idea what a storm his sudden meeting with Aarti would bring in Amit’s life.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title ‘Gumrah’ resonates with some of the characters in the story… but it also teaches us some lessons about how greed and excessive ambition can ruin us.

Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: To become a better writer, practice writing regularly, read a lot to learn new styles, and always be open to feedback. Keep your ideas clear and simple, and don’t be afraid to rewrite and improve your work. Most importantly, enjoy the process and keep writing with passion.

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: To me, success is not just about achievements, money, or fame. True success is inner peace — living in alignment with my values, fulfilling my purpose, and touching lives in a positive way. It means growing as a human being, staying grateful, and being content in the present moment while still striving to be my best. Success is when my work and my actions bring joy to me and also to others.

Q: Tell Us About Your First Published Book? What Was The Journey Like?

A: My first published book is a Hindi thriller, and it means a lot to me. The journey started with a small idea and turned into a suspense-filled story. I learned a lot while writing it, and it’s been an exciting and meaningful experience. I’m proud to share it with readers.
