Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: My own feelings very honestly. I noticed how sad yet beautiful one sided love truly can be & hence I decided to write about it.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Dreading You is a sad-romantic poetry collection that explores the emotional intensity of unspoken love, lingering memories, and inner conflict. Through deeply personal reflections, the book captures the quiet ache of longing, overthinking, and the fragile beauty of loving someone who may never truly belong to you.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: Dreading You means being emotionally tied to someone whose presence feels both beautiful and unbearable.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: I really understood the depth of one’s feelings for their ideal. I learnt that sometimes, people unwillingly let go of the person they love the most for their best.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: Most books I’ve written so far are real life based so I do get inspired by things and people around most of the time. But information based books requires research and I tend to use the internet for it.

Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: Although I’m still a beginner, there are many things I’ve learnt so far. The most important being- surround yourself with people who truly value your capability and art and not people who try to poke fun at it. Writing is truly an art and not a lot of people can relate to it, be smart about it, it will really help writers in the long run.

Q: What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A: I think feelings in general are really important elements of good writing. Feelings make humans- human & hence anything that can touch the hearts of the audience reflects important elements of good writing.

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: According to me, you’re truly successful when you have achieved enough to give your regards and love back to the part of society who are really underprivileged and help them without being asked.

Q:  How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: It is actually pretty important, research plays a really important part in writing since anything you say or write is publically available, we need to be mindful of what we’re putting forward.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: Writing is an art that not a lot of people recognise, so please write, keep writing, write for people who wanted to but couldn’t, write for yourself. You are truly amazing and you will definitely find success and an audience of your own!
