About the Author:

My journey took a transformative turn when I moved to Chandigarh and joined a private bank. Life followed a conventional path until I discovered my passion for travel. What began as trips with friends evolved into solo adventures, pushing me beyond my comfort zone. My first solo trip was a turning point—I met Jatin, a fellow traveler with an entrepreneurial vision. When he started his company, he offered me the role of Co-founder. Today, as Co-founder & CTO of FAG Finance, I continue to embrace new experiences. Pehla Safar is a tribute to the journeys, friendships, and self-discoveries that shaped me.

Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: This book was born out of my own crazy first solo travel experience. I wanted to capture the excitement, the fear, and the sheer randomness of traveling alone—especially when you have no fixed plans. It’s for everyone who has dreamed of taking that one big trip but never found the push to do it.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Pehla Safar is a hilarious, unfiltered story of my first solo trip. From sneaking out without telling my parents to getting lost in the mountains, it’s a mix of adventure, comedy, and self-discovery. If you’ve ever wanted to travel solo but had a hundred doubts, this book is for you!

Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?

A: Absolutely! The character is 100% me. Every incident, from sneaking out without telling my parents to getting lost and making random friends, actually happened. So, if you relate to the character, congratulations—you might be just as crazy as I was on my first solo trip!

Q: How Did Publishing Your First Book Change Your Process Of Writing?

A:It made me realize that writing a book is just the beginning! Editing, publishing, and marketing are their own rollercoasters. But the best part? Seeing readers connect with my story and say, “Bhai, yeh toh mere saath bhi ho chuka hai!” That makes all the effort worth it.

Q:What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: Just start writing! Don’t wait for the “perfect” idea or time. Your raw, unfiltered thoughts have more power than you think. And most importantly—write like you’re telling a story to a friend. If you enjoy writing it, people will enjoy reading it!
