Emerging technologies to generate more jobs despite challenges, says Krishna University Vice-Chancellor

Krishna University Vice-Chancellor Kuna Ramjee on Saturday said emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and machine learning would continue to generate new career opportunities for youngsters despite temporary challenges in the software industry.
Mr. Ramjee was the chief guest at the silver jubilee celebrations of Tarang held at Avanthi’s St Theresa Engineering College in Garividi of Vizianagaram district. Avanthi Group chairman Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao also attended the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ramjee said engineering colleges must take special care to upgrade the skills of students in tune with the rapid changes taking place in the information technology sector.
JNTU-GV Director (Research and Development) G. Swami Naidu, Tube Investments of India associate vice-president M. Suryanarayana Reddy and others were present.
