Asian Games 2023 Live Updates Day 11: A momentous day in Indian sport! And it’s the Indian athletes who ushered in the historic day. India started the day at Asian Games 2023 on 69 medals, and ended on 81 medals – India’s highest-ever medal tally. India have won 18 gold medals so far – the most won at a single Asian Games. This is the first time that India have gone past the 16-gold medal mark at Asian Games. For India, on Wednesday, Neeraj Chopra (men’s javelin throw), Men’s 4x400m relay team and Jyothi Surekha Vennam/Ojas Deotale (Mixed team compound) won gold medals. The silver medal winners were – Kishore Jena (javelin throw), Harmilan Bains (women’s 800m), Avinash Sable (men’s 5000m), women’s 4x400m relay team, Lovlina Borgohain (boxing). The bronze medal winners were Sunil Kumar (greco-roman wrestling), Abhay Singh/Anahat Singh (mixed team squash), Ram Baboo/Manu Rani (35km race walk mixed team) and Parveen Hooda (boxing women’s 57kg).
