The viral ‘Lappu sa Sachin’ dialogue, created by Mithilesh Bhati in 2023, resurfaced on Bigg Boss 19.

Ayushmann Khurrana made a special appearance on Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Sunday, October 19, to promote his new film, Thamma. During his visit, the actor engaged the housemates in a playful task, asking them to identify who appeared “thamma” (strong) but was actually “lappu” (weak).

It was during this game that someone cheekily pointed out “lappu sa Sachin,” bringing the famous dialogue back into the spotlight.

Origin Of “Lappu sa Sachin”

The viral dialogue “Lappu sa Sachin” was first coined by Mithilesh Bhati in 2023. Hailing from Noida, she mocked the relationship of Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman who had moved to India for her partner, Sachin Meena.

In an interview, Mithilesh Bhati called Sachin “lappu sa,” meaning small and insignificant. She further added that Seema had gone to great lengths for a “jhingur sa ladka” (a boy as thin as a cricket). In the video that soon went viral, Mithilesh had reportedly said, “Sachin..kya hai Sachin mein? Lappu sa Sachin hai, muh se bolna awe na ha…bolta wo ha na, jhingur sa ladka..us se pyar karegi wo.”

Who Is Sachin Meena?

Sachin Meena is the Indian national at the centre of the viral “Lappu sa Sachin” dialogue. He fell in love with Seema Haider while playing PUBG during the COVID-19 lockdown and welcomed her, along with her four children, when she moved from Pakistan to settle with him in Greater Noida.

Who Is Seema Haider?

Seema Haider is a Pakistani national who crossed the border to meet her Indian boyfriend, Sachin Meena. A resident of Sindh province, she travelled to Nepal before entering India in May 2023 to marry Sachin. In the past, there were allegations that Seema might be a spy, and the UP ATS had even questioned the couple regarding these concerns, reported PTI/

Seema and Sachin eventually got married after she converted to Hinduism. They welcomed a daughter in 2024.

Seema Haider has said in the past that she was offered Bigg Boss 17 and was also invited to The Kapil Sharma Show, but she claimed that neither she nor Sachin had any interest in participating. She added that if they ever decide to take up a show or film, they would share the details publicly themselves.

According to reports, film producer Amit Johny had also offered Seema a role in his movie, which she declined.
