Three people, including two Indian trainee pilots, reportedly died in a plane crash in Canada’s British Columbia province on Saturday. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said all three people onboard died and their families were being notified about the tragedy.
The twin-engined light aircraft, Piper PA-34 Seneca, crashed into trees and bushes behind a motel in Chilliwack city, Reuters reported.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said that it has launched an investigation into the matter. Officials said the scene was contained and there were no other reported injuries or risks to the public.
