It revolves around a farmer, Bajrang Ram Bhagat from Kesarapath village, who saved Rs 40,000 over six to seven months, all in Rs 10 coins, to buy a Honda Activa scooter for his daughter.

He finally visited a local showroom in Jashpur with his daughter, ready to pay the full amount of Rs 98,700, of which Rs 40,000 was reportedly in coins. The father explained that he preferred paying in cash rather than taking a loan.

It Took Three Hours To Count Coins

The showroom owner, Anand Gupta, revealed that it took nearly three hours to count the coins before the payment could be processed. Once the transaction was complete, the family was handed the keys to the new scooter, and that’s not all, they also received a mixer grinder, thanks to a festive lucky draw offer.

On the other hand, Champa, a BCom student, shared that the scooter will make daily commuting and transporting goods much more convenient for the family. Reportedly, the Bhagat family resides in a house constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Furthermore, it avails several welfare programs, including the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi and Mahtari Vandan schemes.

It shows a heap of coins stacked on the showroom table, with the daughter clapping in sheer happiness as her father’s hard work pays off. The staff members, busy counting the coins, looked equally happy for the father-daughter duo.
