About the Author:

Duriya Kasubai hails from Mumbai. She has been writing from a very young age. After completing journalism, she decided to write books on contemporary romance; bold yet thought provoking. The books she writes carries a message across; inspiring readers globally, to fight all odds and emerge victors. Her female protagonists portray a lot of grit and fire urging them on towards the pinnacle of pure individualism. She as a writer has always aimed for individualism. Her books are no doubt about Romance, but they are inspirational too. She has completed journalism through BIET, majoring in Character Analysis, Fiction Writing and Advanced Psychology. She enjoys watching movies and series, reading, and listening to music is one of her greatest passions besides travelling with her daughters. To sum it all, she believes in the freedom to live and let live and most of her personal ideology has been reflected in her writing.

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A:This was essentially to put forth my thoughts and ideas in order to share them with everyone. It’s a step into the world of contemporary romance.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: The novel is not just about romance but it is a thought provoking read. It is an insight into an individual’s mind, and how situations can influence the progression of maturity and acceptability of inevitability and learn to move on.

Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?

A: It was inspired by my own understanding of character complexities and how situations often mould our minds into a more dignified acceptability, should our self esteem ever be questioned.

Q:What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: Each character has something to convey and the main protagonists finally reached a poignant realisation of the truth of their relationship, accepting their mutual feelings for each other with grace and reverence.

Q:How Many Books Have You Written? Which Is Your Favourite?

A: I have written 2 books so far namely The Strange Encounter’ & now releasing this book, ‘Call Of Passion’. All books are very dear to me as I have spent months and years developing these stories for the world to read.

Q:What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A: Apart from making it an enjoyable experience, it should also be able to send across a message of personal elevation and gain wisdom in thoughts along with the ability to make sound decisions.

Q:Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?

A:It is without doubt that the cover page plays a very important role in the selling process. The cover needs to generate both intrigue and garner interest in the minds of the reader, so that they can imagine the characters in a better way when they read the book.
