US President Donald Trump on Friday reflected on his past election victories during a rally in Rocky Point, North Carolina, comparing his 2016 win against Hillary Clinton with his 2024 election success. While addressing supporters, Trump asked the crowd which victory they believed was more meaningful.
Offering his own view, Trump said defeating Clinton in 2016 was “fun”, while continuing to criticise his former Democratic rival. His comments drew loud reactions from the crowd gathered at the rally.
What Trump said about Hillary Clinton?
During his speech, Trump again used harsh language to describe Clinton, referring to her as “nasty”. He said he had considered using a stronger term but stopped himself, adding that his wife would not approve.
Trump also joked about Clinton’s personality, saying he would not want to “go home to Hillary”, repeating his claim that she was “nasty”. “Hillary was nasty. I was gonna use the B word. My wife would not be happy. Hooh, I would not want to go home to Hillary! She was nasty,” said Trump.
In the same speech, Trump made a comparison between Clinton and former Vice President Kamala Harris. He claimed that Clinton had a “much higher IQ” than Harris, suggesting the difference could be “50 or 60 points”. He repeated his criticism of Clinton while making the comparison.

Such comments are consistent with Trump’s long-standing style of political attacks and sharp personal criticism of his opponents.
Supporters at the Rocky Point rally responded enthusiastically to Trump’s comments, with laughter and applause throughout his speech.
