Actor Huma Qureshi’s Cousin Murdered In Delhi’s Nizamuddin Over Parking Dispute

Huma Qureshi’s cousin was killed in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area on Thursday night after a dispute. Police have arrested two persons.

Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi’s cousin was murdered in Delhi late on Thursday. The incident happened in the Nizamuddin area of the national capital, following a parking dispute.
The deceased was identified as Asif Qureshi. According to the details, the dispute broke out after Asif was allegedly parking his two-wheeler at nearly 11 pm in the Jangpura Bhogal Bazaar lane.
An altercation between Asif and another party turned violent, after which Asif was attacked with a sharp weapon.
He was immediately rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased alleged that there had been parking disputes between them and the other party in the past, too. However, the dispute turned ugly this time, they claimed.
“When my husband returned home from work, the neighbour’s scooter was parked in front of our house, which he asked to be removed. As an argument broke out between the two, the neighbour started abusing him and killed him with a sharp pointed object,” Asif’s wife said.
Delhi Police have arrested two persons in connection with the case and will present them in court on Friday. The weapon used in the crime was also recovered.
The police were also interrogating the other neighbours of the deceased’s family, along with some eyewitnesses.
Further investigations are ongoing.
On July 14, a man was allegedly set on fire by a bike mechanic over a parking issue in Delhi’s RK Puram area.
To set the fire, the accused poured petrol on the man who was sitting in his car at the time of the incident.
The injured man, identified as Rahul Chauhan, was shifted to the Trauma Centre by the PCR van.
