Apple iPhone 16 Pro series gets a bigger ProMotion display, new Pro-grade camera features and the new A18 Pro chipset.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro lineup was also part of the Glowtime event on Monday which now looks to further push the performance envelope of a flagship device. The iPhone 16 Pros are powered by the new A18 Pro chipset that promises even more power and better efficiency than the A17 Pros on the iPhone 15 Pro models. But this year’s iPhone 16 Pro models also get Pro-grade camera features along with exclusive AI updates that won’t be coming to the regular iPhone 16 models.

iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max Price In India

iPhone 16 Pro price in India starts from Rs 1,19,900 for the base 128GB model, going all the way up to Rs 1,69,900 if you want the 1TB variant. While the iPhone 16 Pro Max starting price in India is Rs 1,44,900 which buys you the 256GB model, while the 1TB variant comes for Rs 1,84,900 in the country.

iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max Features

The iPhone 16 Pro series gets you a 6.3-inch ProMotion display on the 16 Pro and a 6.9-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate on the 16 Pro Max. These models weigh 199 grams and 227 grams, respectively.

You have them with IP68 rating like the regular iPhone 16 models but the A18 Pro is the big Pro changer from the company. It has a 16-core neural engine which will do the heavy lifting for Apple Intelligence and the new Siri avatar. It will run iOS 18 out of the box and the AI push comes via iOS 18.1 update later this year.

Coming to the imaging, the iPhone 16 Pros come with a triple camera system yet again which includes a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, a 48MP ultrawide lens also with OIS and a 12MP 5x telephoto lens with OIS as well. The main camera can now record videos at 4K quality with 120 fps for slo-mo cinematic that Apple demoed during the event. The front of the Pro still has a 12MP camera for FaceTime and Face ID.
