Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 Promo: Aamir Ali Sets The Stage On Fire In Cop Avatar – News18

Aamir Ali is gearing up to make his small screen appearance again but this time it is going to be in the celebrity-dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. The television personality of the Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki, and FIR fame has paired up with professional choreographer Sneha to participate in the competition. The latest promo of the show doing the rounds on social media shows Aamir Ali making his return for a dance segment in his infamous cop avatar. With Ranveer Singh’s Simmba smash-hit Mera Wala Dance playing in the background, Aamir Ali follows a quirky choreography that includes a few dangerous lifts.

Judge Farah Khan goes “wow” just looking at one of them. Meanwhile, Arshad Warsi who appears to be pretty impressed calls Aamir Ali a “Fire on the stage.” If the promo is anything to go by, it seems Aamir Ali is going to be a tough competitor to beat. “Yeh mera wala dance nahi, yeh toh Aamir Ali wala dance hai,” Aamir Ali captioned the photo. Previously, he also shared a funny behind-the-scenes reels with co-contestant Shiv Thakare giving fans an inside glimpse into what’s in store for them. Aamir Ali retains his cop avatar for the video, while Shiv appears in a shimmery costume. The duo were spotted enjoying a gala time together while grooving to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Leke Prabhu Ka Naam from Tiger 3. Check out the video below:

This isn’t the first time that Aamir Ali has participated in a dance reality show. He won Nach Baliye 3 in 2007 with his then-partner Sanjeeda Sheikh. Since then he has appeared in Zara Nachke Dikha 2 as a contestant, Nachle Ve With Saroj Khan as a guest, and Nach Baliye 4 as a host. On the professional front, Aamir Ali has featured in multiple web shows including Black Widows and Naxalbari. The actor essayed the role of a cop in his latest release The Trial led by Bollywood diva Kajol.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa premieres on Saturday, November 11. Besides Aamir Ali, the show also stars Anjali Anand, Sangeeta Phogat, Shoaib Ibrahim, and Tanishaa Mukerji as participants.
