Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: The inspiration came from a long-standing inner inquiry rather than a single moment. While reading scriptures, visiting temples, and observing how people worship Shiva, I felt there was a gap between ritual and understanding. Shiv Tatv was born out of the desire to explore Shiva not just as a deity, but as a fundamental principle of existence—something experiential, not merely devotional.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Shiv Tatv is an exploration of Lord Shiva’s symbolism, philosophy, and spiritual depth. The book examines Jyotirlingas, sacred signs, and the hidden meanings behind commonly known Shiva elements. It bridges mythology, philosophy, and inner consciousness, guiding readers toward a deeper understanding of Shiva as a universal truth rather than a distant divine figure.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: “Shiv Tatv” means the essence or principle of Shiva. Here, Shiva represents pure consciousness—the stillness behind creation, preservation, and destruction. The title reflects the book’s focus on understanding Shiva beyond form, as a timeless and formless reality that exists within and around us.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: Writing this book taught me humility. The more I researched and reflected, the clearer it became that Shiva cannot be fully explained—only approached. I also learned that true spirituality lies in questioning, silence, and self-observation, not just in answers or beliefs.

Q:Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?

A: Yes. A book cover is the first silent conversation with the reader. It should reflect the soul of the content, not just attract attention.
