Like many, Kareena Kapoor Khan is a die-hard fan of the renowned Hollywood actress Kate Winslet, who is known for speaking her mind. Back in 2022, the Titanic actress opened up about her arthritis and talked about the pressures that women continue to face in their 40s. Kate was speaking on BBC Woman’s Hour when she said women “become more woman, more powerful, more sexy” in their forties. She further encouraged women to embrace their true selves no matter what because she thinks “Life is just too flipping short.”
This thought of the 49-year-old British actress resonated with Kareena. The latter shared this excerpt from the interview on her Instagram Stories with a sweet caption. The Jab We Met actress wrote, “Kate, Oh how much I (love) you,” adding two heart emojis.
It is noteworthy that Kareena is not just a fan of Kate Winslet. The Bollywood actress also adores Kate’s camaraderie with Leonardo DiCaprio. The two have been friends ever since they worked on James Cameron’s 1997 romantic drama Titanic. Despite never having romantic feelings for one another, Kate and Leonardo have always admired one another and showered each other with praise whenever the opportunity came.
Recently, the two reunited during the screening of Kate’s film Lee at Harmony Gold Theatre in Los Angeles. A video from the event has gone viral, in which Leonardo heaps praises on his co-star and dear friend. Sharing the same on her Instagram Stories, Kareena Kapoor dropped black-and-white heart emojis, showcasing her admiration for the actor duo.
Speaking of Kareena Kapoor, the actress recently turned heads with her style quotient at a clothing brand’s store launch event. At 44, the actress still can give young celebrities a run for their money with her charming personality and impeccable fashion sense.
She turned heads in a white ribbed tank top paired with straight-fit blue denim jeans and an olive green blazer. Like always, her chic yet comfortable outfit for the event exuded off-duty model vibes. Kareena kept her makeup subtle and left her hair open.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor had three releases in 2024. In March, the women-led heist movie Crew was released in theatres. She starred alongside Kriti Sanon and Tabu. Next, in September, Hansal Mehta’s crime thriller The Buckingham Murders was released, in which Kareena played the role of a police officer who was grieving the death of her child. More recently, she was seen in Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer film Singham Again.
