Kritika Talks About Her Book ‘Keep praying god is listening’

About the Author:

Kritika Khetarpal Malik is an upcoming fashion designer owning a brand called KRITIKA K, graduated in 2012 from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University ,further she did her post graduation in fashion designing from pearl academy of fashion technology in the year 2015 , New Delhi. She always wanted to write a book ,but whenever she sat down writing she couldn’t find a relevant content or inspiration to write and failed many attempts to write, nor did she consider herself a great writer but part of her always had a urge to write but recently she came across this quote “keep praying god is listening” ,this quote inspired her to write. Why it inspired her ? It inspired her because it came as an answer to her prayers ,it was like God was saying have faith , it was an assurance that everything will be okay, as god is there for her in all difficult times. This compelled her to write for all those who are seeking answers to there prayers and have lost hope , whatever she has learnt through Gurbani or child hood stories narrated by her elders and the kind of relationship she has shared with God, she has penned it down, it was like God telling her to write about his glory . She wishes this book to come as an answer to the prayers of all the readers. Further To take that leap, she says to have a childlike perceptive and not a childish perceptive. The childlike mind does not seek to God in an intellectual sense, but rather to experience and enjoy God in everyday life. This allows the childlike mind to seek and experience true spiritual life outside those places where the adult mind might expect to find God. Having said that this book is straight from her heart .. and she says Im grateful to God for this opportunity. Imbued with grace and her practical approach to spirituality and life, her words teach the power of prayers that guide from visualisation to realisation from outer chaos to inner light. P.S :- She is not a contemporary spiritual teacher who is aligned with any particular religion or tradition and won’t call herself as true devotee but she is just a child of akal purakh (god) and always asking him to shield her from all the challenges”.

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A:My only motive behind writing this book is to heal people.. it was a healing process for me as well.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: I don’t think so I need to explain the title .. the title keep Praying god is listening , itself say’s a lot .

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: I got my most of my information from my grandmother while I was growing up and of course through my own life experiences.

Q: Do You Try More To Be Original Or To Deliver To Readers What They Want?

A: I try to be original for my readers .

Q: When Did You Write Your First Book And How Old Were You?

A: Keep praying god is listening is my first is my first book.

Q:What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: The definition of success to me means doing something that makes you happy, and something that you enjoy.

Q:Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?

A:A book cover creates the first impression on its potential readers. Therefore, a book cover design is one of the most important aspects of marketing a book.

Q:What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A:It’s too early to give advice .. as it’s my first book . But just be original . Just put your feelings into word.
