About the Author:

The author goes by the nom de plume Leoni Robens, loves writing poems of love, valour, knights in shining armour, giants, mermaids and all sorts of fairy folks. She has won a scholarship in English and won certificates for elocution, drama, singing and handwriting. The author loves cooking, gardening, painting and singing and has sung in her mother-in-law, Heather’s choir for many shows performed on stage. Her favourite authors are George Mac Donald, William Shakespeare, Lewis Caroll, Enid Blyton, Frances Hodgson Burnett and Hans Christian Anderson and her favourite book is Alice in Wonderland. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. At present she is a housewife, but still continues writing these enjoyable poems, to entertain adults as well as young minds with some fun and magic. She believes that the “PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD” and hopes that one day her pen will bring out the best in song, dance and dramatics to be performed on stage by budding enthusiastic young actors, which would add another feather to her cape. She lives in Mumbai with her husband, son, mother and adorable pet African grey Romeo as well charming moustache Parakeets Charlie Brown and Alice Liddle. Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A:Rat races and its final end proves destruction and malarkey therefore success to me means a great many thing, if I can like the doctor author surgeon perform a facial upliftment to improve a fairy grin and in the process of being an enlightened poetess make the world realize through my fairy lines of poetry that success to us comes in different ways, just like writing maybe in varied fields cooking, painting, acting, managing and supervising so it wouldn’t cost to be like the Human Fly, kind, less selfish, not too proud or arrogant and like my fairy folk a bit valiant, selfless and strong willed you will surely win a fair and just competition and triumph goodness over evil like the One Legged Fairy in my book. By all degrees my writer’s cap of imagination gives one a free realm as you adventure with me and all my mermaid and engrossing poems will make my success sound even sweeter to illuminate such a carefree, windblown life full of happiness and cheer!

Q: Where Do You Get Your Greatest Ideas For Writing?

A:My greatest ideas are from a fairy world I envision earth to be, with all our foibles and our weaknesses each of my illuminating poems goes to show our experiences as if we were the princes, princesses, pixies, queens, kings and goblins of fairy land, learning and bettering ourselves to make right choices and decisions and thus evolve into imaginative plots, sketches and foibles of common people as medium for a bare book as without its inventors my poems would not originate. Thus even nature and skies blend into the fantasy creation of my script and would advice young authors to do the same without making it boring and monotonous but creative, flowing and adorable!

Q:What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A:Be like the Burrowers and the Borrowers, in one of my compositions that read, tickle your imagination with ideas from famous authors and poets books and like one of the burrowers who burrow deep inside a hole maybe a rat or a mole or vole and like the Borrowers who exchange a hair for a mole or a bug for a boil without making mountain of a mole hill of course! Try to be innovative, original and simple so that you too enjoy your creations and have a library with not only your best authors and poets but one of your beautiful poetry books!
