Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A:My inspiration came from observing the fragile state of modern relationships. As a counsellor and life coach, I’ve met countless couples who struggle to sustain their bond despite love being present. I realized that while marriages are celebrated, their sacred foundation—the seven vows—is often forgotten. I wanted to revisit these vows not as rituals, but as living principles that guide a couple’s emotional, spiritual, and psychological harmony. “The Anatomy of 7 Vows” is my heartfelt attempt to help couples reconnect with the essence of their union.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: The Anatomy of 7 Vows” is a deep exploration of the sacred promises that form the foundation of Hindu marriage. Each chapter focuses on one vow—its ancient significance, emotional depth, challenges in modern times, and how couples can practically embody it in daily life. The book also includes self-reflection exercises, compatibility checklists, and real-life stories that help readers introspect and strengthen their relationships. It’s not just a relationship guide; it’s a mirror that helps partners see how love evolves when understanding, respect, and growth walk hand in hand.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title “The Anatomy of 7 Vows” reflects my approach as both a counsellor and a spiritual seeker. “Anatomy” signifies a deeper dissection—an exploration beneath the surface of what each vow truly represents. These vows are not just words spoken during rituals; they are blueprints for emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being within a marriage. Through this title, I wanted to portray the structure, soul, and substance of sacred commitment.

Q: How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?

A: This book has been a two-year journey of reflection, writing, and rewriting. Some parts flowed effortlessly, while others demanded deep introspection and silence. But every word came from a place of genuine intention—to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern love.

Q: What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A: Authenticity, emotional connection, and clarity. Good writing doesn’t try to impress—it tries to express. When an author writes with honesty and empathy, the words naturally resonate. A strong message wrapped in simple, sincere language can touch hearts far deeper than ornate vocabulary ever could.

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: For me, success is not defined by numbers, fame, or reviews—it’s defined by impact. If even one couple reads this book and finds a way back to love, understanding, or forgiveness, I will consider it my success. To me, success is when your work becomes a source of healing, inspiration, and awareness for others.

Q: Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?

A:Absolutely. A book cover is the first conversation a reader has with your story. It should reflect the soul of the book—visually and emotionally. For “The Anatomy of 7 Vows,” the cover blends the symbolism of sacred union with serene aesthetics, inviting readers to feel the sanctity of the journey before they even turn the first page.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: Write from your truth. Don’t chase trends; chase meaning. Every story has a heartbeat—find yours and let it echo through your words. Be patient with the process, as writing is not just about creating a book; it’s about evolving as a person. And remember, perfection is overrated—honesty is unforgettable.
