MS Dhoni’s fame is unmatched with the FIFA World Cup captioning a post of Cristiano Ronaldo, ‘Thala for a Reason’.
The craze behind India’s very own World Cup-winning skipper MS Dhoni continues despite the legend stepping away from international cricket for quite some time now.
Despite hitting 42, Dhoni still has what it takes to be one of the most destructive finishers as he has displayed his power-hitting skills in the recently concluded IPL 2024. Jumping on the bandwagon was none other than the official Instagram page of the Fifa World Cup which put up a post regarding a fellow #7 Cristiano Ronaldo with the iconic caption, ‘Thala for a reason’.
Both veterans are still showing that they can dominate on the biggest stage. Many will be expected MS Dhoni to continue for the next edition of the IPL. Meanwhile, Ronaldo will hope that he can lead Portugal to a second Euros title.
MS Dhoni was recently enjoying some time off with his family while Ronaldo is prepping himself for the national team’s first game in the Euro 2024 where they take on Czechia at the Redbull Arena in Leipzig.
Both men are icons that have transcended their respective sports and remain names that are well-known all across the world.
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most popular personalities on the planet as he has dazzled many football fans with his immense goal-scoring abilities and is currently the most prolific goal-scorer in the history of the sport.
His Indian counterpart, fellow #7, MS Dhoni is known to be an impeccable leader and an individual player who has led India to several titles and remains as the most successful captain for India in their cricketing history. He has also done well in with the Chennai Super Kings having led them to five titles as well.
The world will be hoping to see both icons continue to rule their respective sport for years to come but there will come a time when both would have to call curtains on their illustrious career.
